What KINTAG is

KINTAG lets you store emergency information and display the parts you choose through a QR code you place on your gear. It is an informational tool to help others help you.

What KINTAG is not

KINTAG is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It is not a substitute for professional emergency care or an official medical ID. We cannot guarantee that a responder will find, scan, read, understand, or act on your tag. You remain responsible for your own safety and medical decisions.

Who can use KINTAG

KINTAG is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account, and you confirm that when you register. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has an account, write to us and we will delete it.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your information accurate and up to date — out-of-date medical info can mislead.
• Keep your PIN and recovery code private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Only enter information you have the right to share, including your emergency contacts' details.
• Use KINTAG lawfully and for its intended purpose. One account per person.

Availability

KINTAG is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise any level of uptime, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue the service. Nothing about this service works without a network connection — the QR and the page it opens both need one. We do not offer an offline mode and you should not rely on one.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KINTAG and its makers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including any outcome of an emergency. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from your Privacy settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.

Governing law

KINTAG is operated from the Republic of Panama by the person named in the legal notice, and Panamanian law governs these terms. A dispute that cannot be settled directly belongs to the competent courts of Panama City.

That does not take away the protection you have at home. Where the law of the country you live in gives you consumer rights that cannot be signed away — including, in many places, the right to bring a claim in your own courts — those rights still apply and come first.

Changes

If we change these terms materially we will publish a new version here. Your account records which version you accepted.
